I bet I’m a lot like you; juggling the responsibilities of home, work, and kids. But what might make me a little different is I’ve always been obsessed with recipes and food. Even when it was hard to find the time.
Friends and family were constantly asking me how I cook night after night without getting completely burned out! So I started sharing recipes and tips to make cooking at home more exciting and, most importantly, practical.
And that's how No More To-Go started.
In actuality, I don't cook EVERY night - we do eat out; but not nearly as much as we did before I started planning our meals. And once I got into the groove of cooking at home, I started to discover a few things…
First, very few to-go meals tasted good to me anymore. What I was cooking at home was killing the competition! I also found that dinner prep is like anything else; practice makes perfect. It didn’t take long before I was slicing and dicing like a champ.
Secondly, we had a revelation budget-wise. It was simply too expensive to eat out multiple times a week and the amount of money we were saving was far beyond what we ever expected.
Thirdly, I know exactly what's in each and every meal I cook. Eating healthy is important and not always a certainty when eating out. By planning meals, I can make sure we eat delicious, balanced dinners, not filled with processed ingredients or unnecessary additives.
Finally, I found the effort of cooking at home to be a complete waste unless everyone at the dinner table was happy. And that's why No More To-Go puts an excessive amount of effort into each and every recipe in our meal plans - all the way down to the tips for adjusting our drool-worthy meals for the picky eaters at your table.
